Our Approach

Doctors should be scored on outcomes,
not reviews.

Most online doctor directories rank physicians on Yelp-style star reviews, insurance-network politics, or simple alphabetical order. None of that tells you whether a doctor's patients actually get better. The Hunuu Health Directory ranks providers on measurable biometric outcomes — sourced from the wearables and health records of their consenting patients — and surfaces specialists by what they actually deliver.

The Four Principles

A directory built on verifiable signal

Every Hunuu Certified Physician's listing is anchored by four non-negotiables. If a provider can't satisfy all four, they don't get the badge.

01

Outcome-Based Scoring

A provider's SIQ score rises when their patients' HRV, glucose, cortisol, sleep, and recovery metrics improve. Reviews don't factor in. Volume doesn't factor in. Outcomes do.

02

No Pay-to-Play

We do not sell ranking. A Preferred badge ($49/mo) gets a provider verified status and top placement in their category, but it cannot buy a higher SIQ score. Scores are fully earned.

03

Continuous, Not Snapshot

We don't rank on a single survey or one quarter of claims data. The SIQ score updates continuously as new biometric streams come in from consenting patients. It reflects current performance, not 2019's.

04

Patient-Owned Data

Every patient consents explicitly to each datapoint shared with their provider. HIPAA BAA in place. Patients can revoke at any time. Providers see exactly what flows into their score.

How We Compare

Hunuu Directory vs. conventional directories

Yelp, Zocdoc, and insurance-bundled directories all use the same machinery: subjective reviews, scheduling availability, and how much the provider pays for placement. Here's how we differ on every axis that matters.

Dimension Conventional Directory Hunuu Health Directory
Ranking Signal Star reviews · payment Biometric outcomes
Update Cadence Months · annual surveys Continuous · daily
Pay-to-Boost Yes — Sponsored slots Never — badge only
Data Source Public reviews Wearables · EHR · genomics
Verification Self-declared NPI NPI + HIPAA BAA + outcomes
Telehealth Often hidden / extra fee First-class filter
Patient Privacy Ads · tracked search Hashed · no tracking
Methodology

From signal to score

SIQ Score is a TensorFlow composite trained on de-identified biometric streams across the Hunuu Health network, weighted across four dimensions (T/W/A/T) and audited end-to-end.

Ingest

Patients consent to share their wearable, lab, and EHR streams with their provider. Data flows through The Exchange — our HIPAA-grade data bus.

Normalize

The Exchange strips PII, normalizes units across 50+ device manufacturers, and timestamps each signal to its source.

Score

The HOPI model computes outcome trajectories per patient per provider, weighted by clinical pillar (T/W/A/T: Therapeutic, Wellness, Activity, Time-to-care).

Aggregate

Per-provider SIQ scores update continuously. Public-facing rank shown to directory members updates daily; provider-side trends update hourly.

Audit

Every datapoint feeding a provider's score is auditable by that provider in their dashboard. Patients can revoke consent at any time, removing their stream from the score.
